Dear Baby,

I have been busy getting things ready for you.  I went through all my baby boy clothes last night, and even picked out an outfit for you to come home from the hospital in.  It is packed up nicely in my new diaper bag.  I've been having some contractions this week.  I had lots of them on Friday, but they went away once I laid down for a while.  Tonight I had a few more while I was at Zumba, but they stopped after I was done exercising.  I think everything is fine, I just have to remind myself to take it easy sometimes!  I love you very much.

Love,
Mommy

Dear Baby,

Today is Thanksgiving, and I am so grateful for my family- especially my little one on the way! We had such a great time with Daddy's family, but I can't wait for next year when you will be there next to Jack, eating the sweet potatoes! I have been sick the past couple days, but I think you are fine because I can feel you kicking me as I type this.  I had one strong contraction a couple days ago, but everything seems normal now.  Your dad and I think we have decided to name you Tate.  We'll have to see if something changes our minds in the next four months.

Love,
Mommy

PS- Here are some of my favorite pictures of you! The last one is my favorite, because it shows what a funny position you were in.

Dear Baby Boy,

We are so happy to know that you will be our son.  You had the funniest ultrasound- you were either folded in half at the waist or curled tight into a ball the whole time.  It made it very easy to see that you are a boy!  Jack is excited too.  He gives a big hug and a kiss to his "little brother" every night.  Today is a little sad for the Chamberlain family, as it was six years ago today that we found out your Grandpa Chamberlain had passed away. We miss him very much, and it makes me sad to think that my boys will grow up not knowing him, so I want you to learn as much as you can from him before you come down to us.  Please give him a big hug from us and tell him we miss him and think about him all the time.  We are so lucky to have an eternal family, and I know someday we will all be together again. I love you so much my son, my son.

Love,
Mommy

Dear Baby,

You have one tired mama!  We had Jack's birthday party this weekend, and right after that, Daddy got very sick with food poisoning. He ate a Subway sandwich that made him sick, but thank goodness, I wasn't hungry for mine and didn't even take a bite.  It's a good thing, too, because food poisoning is more dangerous for pregnant women, and it can affect the baby too.  I think our Heavenly Father is already watching out for you, little one!

Love,
Mommy

Dear Baby,

We are almost half way trough this pregnancy! It has gone by so fast for me.  Sometimes I still wake up in the morning and forget I am pregnant until I look down and can't see my toes, because you are blocking them.  Then I smile and wonder what you will look like and what your personality will be. I just can't wait for you to join us. But please do wait- we don't want any preterm labor or a premature birth if we can help it!  I will just have to be patient.

Love,
Your Mom
